I’m Mike
Hello!
Professional Senior Portrait Photographer in Spokane, WA
I’ve been photographing seniors in Spokane for over 17 years, and I still love every minute of it. I know all the best spots around town and how to make a session feel fun and easy, not stiff or awkward.
This isn’t just about getting great photos (though you’ll definitely get those!). It’s about creating an experience your senior will actually enjoy—and memories you’ll both look back on with a smile.
You’re not just another client to me. I treat every session like I’m photographing someone in my own family. We’ll laugh, explore, and capture real, genuine moments that tell the story of who they are right now!

My Style & Approach
When it comes to photographing people, I'm all about creating images that are clean, natural, and filled with amazing expressions! With 16 years of snapping pics, I've got the technical side of things down pat. But what really sets me apart is my knack for creating an environment of pure fun and playfulness during shoots. I'm not just behind the camera—I'm right there with my clients, engaging with them, giving direction, and ensuring every moment is filled with laughter and joy. Because let's face it, the best photos come when everyone's having a blast!
Whether you're striking a pose or caught in a spontaneous moment, my goal is to capture images that you'll want to proudly hang on your wall and share with your nearest and dearest. So, let's ditch the stiff poses and embrace the fun-filled, laughter-infused world of photography together!
Life throws you a curve ball…
Life threw me a curveball, but it couldn’t take away my passion.
I was cruising through life, loving every minute of running my business—until the winter of 2020 hit me like a freight train. A sudden and serious illness landed me in the hospital for weeks, followed by months in a wheelchair. It was one of the hardest chapters of my life.
But here’s the thing: I’m still here. Still creating. Still showing up for my clients with everything I’ve got. I’ve had to slow down, prioritize my health, and find a new rhythm—but I’ve never stopped doing what I love.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: life doesn’t always go as planned, but resilience, heart, and a love for your craft can carry you through anything. Today, I bring more depth, intention, and joy to every session—and I’d be honored to share that with you.
